原子科技是完全关于原子的。在这个mod里有对应元素周期表里每个元素。每个原子在tooltip里都有其自身的信息，比如原子数，原子质量等，如果你按住shift键，会显示出如下的信息
- 元素所属族
- 元素质子数
- 元素中子数
- 元素电子数
目前该mod有两台机器，自动离心机和原子筛。这些模型的旋转目前有点鬼畜，无法正常旋转，但是后期版本会修复。原子筛在第一版本中没有作用。这些机器的作用被设定为从特定的方块或者物品里提取特定元素，比如离心机，可以在通电的情况下把铁锭变成铁原子。
现在是下半部分的mod。化合器包含在MOD中，但在技术上是一个独立的MOD，具有自己的配置文件。这是MOD的一部分，它增加了许多不同的化合物，然后可以用来制造其他的东西。我举一个例子，可以在地下找到沉积岩，当破碎时有机会掉碳酸钙（CaCO3），否则称为石灰石。然后，石灰石可以用来制作各种不同的装饰块，可以用来做成一些独特的房屋设计。化合物是用原子化合室制造的，它有输入格，其中原子可以放在任何地方，只要原子化合的比例与你试图制作的配方相匹配。例如，水（H2O）需要2个氢原子（在一个格子中）和一个氧原子。
| Atomicraft is all about atoms. In the mod there is an atom for every element of the periodic table. Each atom also has information in its tooltip such as atomic number, atomic mass, and if you hold shift you can access information such as: There are currently 2 machines in the mod, the atomic centrifuge and the atomic sieve. These models don't rotate properly yet but will do in a later version. The atomic sieve isn't functional in the first version. The purpose of these machines will be to extract certain atoms from certain items or blocks such as the centrifuge, which, when powered can turn an iron ingot into an iron atom. Now for the second half of the mod. Compoundcraft is included in the mod but is technically a separate mod with its own config file. This is the part of the mod that adds lots of different compounds which can then be used to make other things. I'll give an example, Sedimentary rock can be found underground and when broken has a chance to drop Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3), otherwise known as limestone. This can then be used to make a variety of different decorative blocks that allow for some unique house designs. Compounds are made using the Atomic Construction Chamber which has a grid of slots where atoms can be placed anywhere providing the stack size matches that of the recipe that you are trying to make.
